Cort of Hugh Blair's Bill, Exhibit "A" to Bill, filed 19 Jany 1869, M/P.. Thomas, C M, Sevier County Chancery Court
 

I Hugh Blair of the County of Sevier and State of Tennessee do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and first.

I direct that my body be decently intird in a manner Suitable to my condition, in life and as to the worldly testate as it hath pleased God to entrust me with. I, do dispose of the Same as follows(first) I, direct that my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my deceased as possible , out of any monies I may die, possessed of, or may first, come into the hand of my Executors, from any portion of my estate real or personal

(Second) I, give and bequeath to my wife Rachel, all my real Estate with the mansion House with all appertanances, therant belonging to be under her management and for her use and maintainance,, during her natural life( Subject to a provise, hereafter to be named for to benefit of ay Daughers Elisabeth and Catharine) . I, also give her one Horse beast, one cow ten head of hogs, ten head of Sheep, my large family Bible, and all the Household and Kitchen furniture, for her use in her own right to dispose of the same as she may think proper. Second I direct that my daughers Elisabeth and Catharine have the maintaniance From the profits of the land with the right of occuping their upstairs room with the privelidge of the other rooms of the House as has heretofore been allowed them during the time they may live Single or continue to reside with their mother.

(third) I, direct that all the balance of my personal Estate(to wit), Black-Smith tool carpenters tool, farming tools and Books and the ballance of the Stock, be Sold and the monies, arising, from the Same (after paying. my debts, and funeral Exspences) be devided equally among my heirs. (forth) I, direct that after  the deceased of my wife Rachael Blair that the land be Sold in Separate tracts and the funds arising from, the Same be devided equally amoungest, ay heirs( and lastly) I, do hereby make ordain and apoint my Sons Wm.H  Blair and Robert H Blair Executers of this my last will and testament in witness whereof, I, Hugh Blair the said testator, have to  this my last will, written on own piece of paper Set my hand and Seal this 28th day of Ju in the year of our Lord 1854
